Update – City Electrical & Water Systems 2-20-21

Now that all electrical power generation has been restored, our City water tanks are full. HOWEVER, PLEASE CONTINUE TO BOIL WATER. THE BOIL WATER NOTICE IS STILL IN EFFECT. Today, the City will continue to address the water leaks throughout town. Meanwhile, we will keep you updated to the status of the Boil Water Notice. Be sure to follow the Water Boil Safety Steps from (TCEQ).

At this time, the City has handed out all of their bottled water. We will notify everyone when a bigger shipment arrives.

Update – Boil Water Notice Still in Effect 2-20-21

Due to a Loss of Pressure we are unable to maintain the minimum standard of pressure required by the Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of San Saba Water Department public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions ….
