San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Grape Stomp & Harvest Celebration
The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Grape Stomp & Harvest Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 16th, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the crushpad behind Wedding Oak Winery and Old Man Scary Cellars, one block off Wallace Street and Highway 16 South in downtown San Saba, Texas. The $30 ticket price includes t-shirt, tacos, wine glass, one free glass of wine, and of course the chance to stomp the grapes!
There will also be a prize for the best “Lucy” costume! And after you stomp the grapes, put your footprint on your t-shirt. (A clothesline will be available to dry t-shirts.)

San Saba Pro Rodeo This Weekend
The San Saba Pro Rodeo Days are this Friday and Saturday, June 2nd and June 3rd, beginning 6:30 p.m. at the San Saba Rodeo Arena.
This year’s rodeo features legendary bullfighter and funny man, Leon Coffey.

A Night at the Museum
Support a worthy cause and join us for a fun-filled evening for the whole family! A Night at the Museum, celebrating TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY and benefiting the San Saba County Historical Museum, will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, 6pm-8pm, at San Saba’s Mill Pond Park.
Tour the museum to observe the historic journey of San Saba County. See locals portraying the county’s founding fathers. Enjoy an authentic “campfire supper” of stew, beans, cornbread and cobbler, served under the stars and “topped off” with a dazzling fireworks display over San Saba’s beautiful Mill Pond Park. And don’t forget to register to win a weekend getaway in San Saba.
Admission is $10 for 11 years and up, $5 for ages 6-10, and free for 5 and under as well as those who present a military ID. Proceeds benefit the San Saba County Historical Museum, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

San Saba Pro Rodeo Rescheduled
The San Saba Pro Rodeo has been rescheduled due to the weather.
The rodeo will now be held Friday and Saturday, July 22nd and 23rd, at the San Saba Rodeo Arena. Rodeo nightly.

Easter Egg Eggstravaganza
The Easter Bunny is on his way! The Easter Egg Eggstravaganza, sponsored by IMPACT2000+, is Saturday, March 26th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Rogan Field. The event is for all children 8 and under.
