A Night at the Museum
“Save the Date” and join us for a fun-filled evening for the whole family! A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, celebrating TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY and benefiting the San Saba County Historical Museum, will be held Saturday, March 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at San Saba County Historical Museum housed inside Mill Pond Park.
Tour the museum to observe the historic journey of San Saba County. See locals portraying the county’s founding fathers. Enjoy an authentic “campfire supper” of stew, beans, cornbread and cobbler, served under the stars and “topped off” with a dazzling fireworks display over San Saba’s beautiful Mill Pond Park. And don’t forget to register to win a weekend getaway in San Saba.
Admission is $10 for 11 years and up, $5 for ages 6-10, and free for 5 and under as well as those who present a military ID. Proceeds benefit the San Saba County Historical Museum, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Pecan Capital Trade Day This Saturday
The Pecan Capital Trade Day will be held today at the San Saba County Courthouse.
Shop, visit and enjoy small town charm at its best. Handcrafted bowls, beautiful crafts, baked goods, jellies, tamales and more each month.

Time to Order Sip & Stroll Tickets
The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual Sip & Stroll Wine Tasting Event on December 12th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A number of hill country wineries will participate in the Sip & Stroll with each housed in separate downtown business venues which will include Alamo Pecan & Coffee Co, Everett’s Furniture, Harry’s, JC Campbell Mercantile, Oliver & Co, San Saba Olive Oil Company with Wedding Oak Winery pouring in their own tasting room. Check-in is at Everett’s Furniture & Emporium located at 310 E Commerce in the downtown district of San Saba where ticket holders will receive their map of participating venues, wine glass, and tote bag.
