The Catkins Ball, sponsored by The Community Foundation of San Saba County, is an annual fundraiser held the last Saturday in April in scenic Risien Park. It is a gala affair showcased in elegant tented surroundings featuring a traditional cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and dance following the live auction.
All proceeds go towards the restoration and preservation of the downtown district and local landmarks.
