The San Saba City Council held a Regular Session on Tuesday, August 13th in the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Ken Jordan called the session to order, announced a quorum with all council members present, and welcomed everyone.

Alderman Mark Amthor gave the invocation followed by everyone joining for the pledges to the American and Texas flags.

The Employee of the Month for August award was presented to Chris Stewart. He takes care of maintenance of the grounds at the Golf Course and is the San Saba VFD Fire Chief. The Supervisor of the Quarter Award was given to Denver Daniel. Denver is the Electric Department Supervisor and has worked for the City nine years.

Dwayne Shaw was sworn in as the new Police Chief.
