Public Alert | Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On September 16, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of San Saba public water system, PWS #2060001, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of September 17, 2026.

City Hall will close on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 1:30 pm, all day Friday, April 3, 2026, and Monday, April 6, 2026.
The Transfer site will be open regular hours on Thursday, April 2, 2026, and will be closed all day Friday, April 3, 2026, Saturday, April 4, 2026, and Monday, April 6, 2026.
Please Note: the regular scheduled routes will resume on the following Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
