We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this catastrophic event. Baptist Disaster Relief is in town and ready to assist in the recovery process. Showers and laundry facilities are setup behind the First Baptist Church if needed. Mud Out Crews will also be here to assist those in need. This is a free service but you must complete an assessment form.

City Alerts

Attention citizens of San Saba, please be aware that if you are loading your flood debris on a trailer and hauling it to the landfill in Brownwood, per their regulations, it must be tarped. If your load is not tarped, then the fees are doubled. Please share this information where appropriate.

Pecan Bottom Festival @ Risien Park

April 5 @ 10:00 am 11:00 pm

The First Annual Pecan Bottom Festival, sponsored by the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce, is Saturday, April 5th, at Risien Park. Gates open at 10:00 am. and close at 11:00 p.m. Come enjoy good music, food, breweries, wineries, dancing, activities and more. There will be something for every age to enjoy! Bring the whole family for a day of Pecan Bottom fun!

The music lineup includes Jon Wolfe, Carson Jeffrey, West Texas Exiles, 5 N Dimers, Presley Grace, Glen Phillips & New Chitlens, Sam Lewis, and Mark Scott & The Southern Comfort Band!
