Public Alert | Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On September 16, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of San Saba public water system, PWS #2060001, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of September 17, 2026.

Public Hearing & Open Session Meetings @Council Chambers

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San Saba will meet in Open Session on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, and the City Council of the City of San Saba will conduct a Special Called meeting scheduled in Open Session for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers to consider the following regarding amendments to the City’s Code of Ordinances: Zoning of Smoke Shops, Zoning of Game Rooms; Location of A/C Units in C-1 and C-2 Zoning. All interested persons should Attend.
