Baptist Disaster Relief is in town and ready to assist in the recovery process. Showers and laundry facilities are setup behind the First Baptist Church if needed. Mud Out Crews will also be here to assist those in need. This is a free service but you must complete an assessment form.

FEMA Disaster Declaration Now Includes San Saba County

President Donald J. Trump has granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Texas triggering the release of federal funds to help people and communities recover from Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, and Flooding that occurred July 2, 2025, and continuing. This disaster declaration has been amended and includes the county of San Saba. Individuals can apply with FEMA the following ways:
• Apply online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
• Call the application phone number at 1-800-621-3362.
