Showers and laundry facilities are setup behind the First Baptist Church if needed. Mud Out Crews will also be here to assist those in need. This is a free service but you must complete an assessment form.

City of San Saba Alert | Flood Debris

City Alerts

Attention citizens of San Saba, please be aware that if you are loading your flood debris on a trailer and hauling it to the landfill in Brownwood, per their regulations, it must be tarped. If your load is not tarped, then the fees are doubled. Please share this information where appropriate.

FEMA Disaster Declaration Now Includes San Saba County

City Alerts

President Donald J. Trump has granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Texas triggering the release of federal funds to help people and communities recover from Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, and Flooding that occurred July 2, 2025, and continuing. This disaster declaration has been amended and includes the county of San Saba. Individuals can apply with FEMA the following ways:
• Apply online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
• Call the application phone number at 1-800-621-3362.
