City of San Saba Alert | Flood Update Monday July 14th

The Mandatory Evacuation Notice for San Saba County is lifted and no longer in effect. The San Saba River is still in flood stage and there are still dangerous water crossings so please continue to pay attention and make wise choices. The National Weather Service forecast model has for the San Saba River is to rise from its current level throughout the afternoon, however, the rise is forecasted to crest at 27.5′ versus the forecasted 31.5′ of yesterday. While this is still a dangerous level and deserves your attention, at that level we are hoping to not have any new damage or closures of highways.
