San Saba River Level Update

City Alerts

Due to debris resulting from the recent river flooding, the lower part of the San Saba River Nature Park will remain closed until further notice. The upper part of the park is open for those wanting to use the walking trails. All of Risien Park will remain closed until further notice due to debris and damage from the flood waters. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we take steps to clear debris and reopen those sections of our park system affected by the recent river flooding.

  • City Council Meeting @Council Chambers

    The City Council of the City of San Saba, Texas, has scheduled its next regularly monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 10th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 303 S. Clear.

  • Pecan Capital Trade Day @County Courthouse Square

    The Pecan Capital Trade Day is today, Saturday, June 14th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the County Courthouse Square. For vendor booths or additional information, please call 325-372-1937.

  • July 4th Fireworks Display Canceled @Mill Pond Park

    At this time, the 4th of July Fireworks display and park activities are canceled due to the heavy recent rains. The Splash Pad is also closed indefinitely. The fireworks display will be rescheduled at a later time. We thank you in advance for your support and understanding.
